Rain the Shining is a Baltimore-based indie rock band who combines guitar driven melodies, chiming riffs of genius, and jaw dropping bass lines that critics can’t deny.

The band is made up of Ryan Smith, Mike Van Meter, Jonny Bylsma, and Jonathan Anspach. Together, they write songs that they enjoy playing, and hope that listeners will make the soundtrack to their life.

The band itself has a long history, but it is the general consensus of the band (as well as the general public) that they are at the top of their game. Mike and Ryan are veterans of the band; Jonny was sent by the heavens above to weave his silk among the rough fabric that was Rain the Shining; and Jon’s finger-blazing skills hold down the bass end with a force not to be taken lightly.
